Interior Design

Interior Design is about people. It is the interface between us and how we live. When people design an interior, that expression of creativity defines the nature of our environment—be it one of refuge, commerce, industry, or recreation. Interior design creates a sense of space; and nothing is more important. We are all about the space within, the space for human activity. Here skills must be learned, historical precedent must be understood, cultural context must be taken into account and the understanding of the process of translation of ideas into concrete form must be developed. Here is where the future of the built environment moves from the ephemeral to the realized. With a focus always on the aesthetic, issues such as sustainability, accessibility, and safety are major players in the design process.
